What is your biggest career achievement?
- Participating and graduating from the Diversity Leadership Program has been an incredibly enriching experience for me. One aspect that stood out was the focus on individual working styles, and through assessments like the DISC framework, I gained profound insights into my own preferences and tendencies.
Understanding my DISC style has been a game-changer. It provided me with a nuanced understanding of my communication style, decision-making approach, and overall leadership tendencies. This self-awareness has been instrumental in navigating diverse team dynamics, fostering effective communication, and promoting collaboration.
By recognizing and embracing my unique working style, I've not only become a more effective leader but have also learned to adapt and appreciate the diverse styles of my team members. This newfound awareness has positively impacted my professional relationships and significantly contributed to creating a more inclusive and harmonious work environment.
Beyond the skills and knowledge acquired, the relationships forged with fellow participants, mentors, and program facilitators have been invaluable. The network I have developed through the Diversity Leadership Program has opened doors to new opportunities, collaborations, and friendships that extend far beyond the program's duration.

- In reflecting on my past decisions, I am confident that each choice I've made has been led with integrity and a genuine consideration for everyone's best interests. While challenges and differences in working styles may have arisen, I stand by the principle that my actions have consistently been guided by a commitment to ethical conduct and personal growth.
In situations where I found it challenging to align with a leader or manager, my approach has always been to maintain transparency and uphold my values. From your perspective, what is the industry lacking to support the modern renter and how do you plan to help supply that need?
- The multifamily industry faces several challenges in meeting the needs of the modern renter. One notable gap is the focus on data-driven solutions. I believe it is imperative to focus on data-driven solutions to better understand the preferences and needs of modern renters. By leveraging data analytics, we can gain insights into trends, preferences, and pain points within the rental market. This information can inform decision-making processes, allowing for more targeted and responsive approaches to property management and tenant satisfaction. By embracing innovation and understanding the evolving needs of tenants, I believe we can create a more responsive and tenant-centric rental experience. Since Snappt is a data-driven fraud detection software, I believe my role contributes to parts of this initiative. Unfortunately, some modern renters have bad intentions. However, helping clients combat the issue of fraud, which is affecting the industry in catastrophic measures is extremely rewarding.
