2024 CANDIDATE APPLICATION

NAA’s Leadership Lyceum provides up to 37 individuals an opportunity to develop as inspired, empowered and informed emerging volunteer leaders in the rental housing industry from all active NAA members. With appointed graduates representing NAA’s 10 regions, this immersive and collaborative program equips active NAA volunteer leaders with the skills, confidence and occasion to network and share experiences on a state, local and national level. Participants will gain a diverse and well-rounded perspective from their 2024 classmates that helps create more inclusive working environments throughout the industry. In addition to earning 8 CECs and participating on a local or national committee, you’ll get the chance to show off your new knowledge and skills at three concurrent sessions held during NAA’s Advocate, Apartmentalize and Assembly of Delegates.

HOW TO APPLY

To apply for NAA's Leadership Lyceum Program, click on the "Submit Your Application" button below. It is highly recommended that all application writing and editing be completed in Word, especially if multiple people are reviewing the application. This approach will prevent any information from being lost in the event that changes to the application do not properly save. When all writing is complete, transfer the information into the application form and submit. Should you need assistance with your application or have questions about Leadership Lyceum, please contact James Swart.

Note: All selected applicants are responsible for their meeting registrations and all travel expenses. Some employers or NAA Affiliates may also sponsor all or part of a regional appointed participant’s registration. NAA is also offering a limited number of exclusive fellowships, including complimentary program participation, so read your application carefully for that prompt.

Application Requirements

  • Active NAA Membership
  • Employed a minimum of one year in the rental housing industry
  • Updated resume
  • Personal Statement
  • Military Service Documentation (if applicable)

NAA’s goal is to select candidates that represent different backgrounds in rental housing to enrich and balance the class.
